The Kentucky state police in the USA are searching for a former school teacher who admitted over the summer to having intimate relations with a minor student and then fled after being released on bail. This was reported by the Richmond Register.
A resident of Berea, Samantha Walker, was declared wanted on October 19. Back in July, she was suspected of having an intimate relationship with a high school student, triggered by intercepted messages from one of the parents. Investigators visited Walker’s home on July 3, where she confirmed that she had engaged in sexual relations with the teenager multiple times.
It is reported that she was detained, but was released on bail the very next day, July 4. The court prohibited her from contacting the victim and witnesses, and ordered her to appear at a hearing on her own. However, instead of complying, Samantha left her home, and police currently have no information on her whereabouts.
She faces numerous serious charges, including corruption and rape of a minor, illegal distribution of pornographic materials, and destruction of evidence. The city’s police have appealed to local residents for assistance in locating the woman.
