In Australia, the lengthy search for Lucinda Miller has concluded, with her remains discovered by police three years after she went missing.
According to ABC News, the 24-year-old woman disappeared in October 2022 while traveling to Niram South. She was last seen by a driver who dropped her off on the roadside at her request after giving her a ride from Melbourne. Initial investigations and searches yielded no results.
Only after three years did authorities receive new information regarding her possible whereabouts. Volunteers and search dogs joined in the efforts.
At the site, one officer noticed a vodka bottle casually left on the ground. He admitted that this item became a crucial clue that led to the discovery of Miller’s remains nearby in the bushes.
The police have officially confirmed the identity of the deceased. Preliminary reports indicate that Lucinda Miller’s death was not of a violent nature.
