According to him, rescuers have recovered 29 bodies, and another 50 people were rescued.
The agency head also noted that two more individuals are still missing.
The newspaper highlights that the vessel collided with a tree stump, which initiated the sinking. Another potential cause of the disaster cited is the overloading of the ship.
